Genius Hour at the Elementary Level
Providing innovative opportunities gives learners and educators the chance to grasp an entire situation and go beyond the usual course of action. Educators and learners can see and experience what is not working and bring new thinking and action into play to solve problems. Innovation increases risk taking, respect for others' ideas, and provides real world experiences to realize that we learn from our failures.
Below are two innovative opportunities I have had the chance to implement with learners in Coppell ISD.
